Elder Amanda White, Knowledge Keeper of the Vancouver School Board took center stage. She told her story and set the tone for the 2 weeks of the youthLEADarts workshop. It was inspirational and hard to listen to narrative that matched benchmarks in her life against the Canadian Government’s Indian Act.
