January’s youthLEADarts Nova Scotia drop-in program for youth aged 7-14 was a great success!
An abundance of local community kids joined us for the Great Canadian Cupcake and Cookie Decorating Contest.
In teams, they created a company logo, poster, promotional shot or commercial and presented them, along with their beautiful cupcakes, to our local celebrity chef, Lesley McDuff.
Our youth mentor Melanie demonstrated some icing and decorating tips and then the kids hit the ground running, exploring collaborative leadership strategies. Lots of laughter and creativity was had by all.
