“We Are All Equal”, a video created by grade 7 and 8 students at Assikinack Elementary in Barrie, Ontario brings us a message of hope.
In their own words, “We all belong, no matter how different. We are all heroes of our own stories. We are all connected. We are all united…together.”
This simple and heartwarming piece written, directed and produced by Izzabella, Dania, Westley and Jacob, gives us all something to reflect upon. How do we create unity? How do we create connection? How can we do this together? How can we can nurture a sense of belonging, joining hands across the globe, to make the world a better, more peaceful and inclusive place?
